Polyurethane Extraflex 90 Tubing

Applications

Polyurethane tubes of type Extraflex 90 are indicated for a wide and varied range of applications, such as: low pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, robotics, industrial automation, analytical instrumentation, vacuum equipment, equipment for semiconductor production, mainly in cases where greater flexibility is required, as in cases of bends and twists in reduced diameter. They are not recommended for automotive safety applications (eg air brake) or for drinking water.

Features

Tubes produced in Extraflex 90 Polyurethane are manufactured with ester-based thermoplastic polyurethane and are durable and resistant to abrasion and crease. They have a hardness of 90 Shore A, which makes them extremely flexible and resistant to torsions. The polyurethane used in the production of this line of tubes has anti-UV and antioxidant resistance, which increases the durability of the tube, maintaining its properties for a longer period, however, they are indicated for indoor applications, protected from direct sunlight.

Key Properties

  • Extremely flexible
  • Excellent resistance to abrasion and crease
  • Exceptional torsion resistance
  • Low permeability
  • Great damping capacity with good tolerance to compression (resilience)
  • Good thermal stability
  • Good resistance to hydrolysis
  • High mechanical resistance
  • Hardness of 90 ± 3 Shore A
